Billing period

Is a monthly porta potty billed per 28 days or per calendar month?

A monthly porta potty rental with Walter Rental Works bills every 28 days, starting the day we deliver. That means 13 billing cycles in a year, not 12. Every 28-day cycle includes the unit and one service visit per week, and the final partial cycle is charged by the week.

From the U.S. call study: 17% of callers needed a unit for a month or more, and the most common surprise elsewhere was paying a full extra month for a few days over. "If it goes a month and a week, does that mean two months?" With us, no — you pay for the extra week only.

Service

How often is a long-term porta potty serviced?

A long-term porta potty is serviced once a week as standard. Each service visit pumps the waste tank, pressure-washes the inside, sanitizes surfaces, refills the sanitizer, restocks toilet paper and checks the door, lock and vent. Busy sites can add a second weekly visit.

Ending it

How do I stop a monthly rental?

To stop a monthly porta potty rental, call or text (414) 392-3756 with the address. Billing stops that day, and we pick up the unit within 1 to 2 business days. Long-term rentals do not end on their own, so the call is what stops the next 28-day cycle.

Setting up a season-long site?

Parks, fields and farms: ask about our every-other-week schedule.

Monthly & long-term: questions callers ask

Is it every 28 days? Is that 30 days or 28?

28 days. The cycle starts on delivery day, so it does not line up with the calendar month.

How much would one month be?

A standard unit starts at about $185 per 28 days with weekly service in Milwaukee County. The first invoice adds one-time delivery and pickup. See the pricing guide.

Can we choose the service frequency later?

Yes. Start weekly and switch to twice weekly or every other week at any point. The change shows up on the next invoice.

Will it be picked up automatically when the month ends?

No. Long-term units stay until you call or text for pickup. We send a reminder before each new 28-day cycle.

Is it cheaper to keep a unit all football season?

Usually yes. A 28-day rental with weekly service costs less than booking a separate event rental every weekend.

Do you rent year-round, including winter?

Yes. Units on long rentals get antifreeze from mid-October to late April. See winter rentals.
