What is a deluxe flushing porta potty?
A deluxe flushing porta potty is a single-stall unit with a fresh-water tank that feeds a foot-pump flush and a small sink. A deluxe flushing porta potty hides the waste tank from view after each flush, which is the main reason wedding and party hosts choose it over a standard unit.

Deluxe flushing unit or standard porta potty?
Choose a deluxe flushing unit when guests are dressed up, kids or older relatives are attending, or there is no house bathroom nearby. Choose a standard porta potty for crews and casual backyard events. A deluxe flushing unit is the wrong pick for festivals with very heavy traffic, because the fresh-water tank runs out first.

From the U.S. call study: A common question was "Which is cheaper: a porta potty plus a separate handwash station, or the deluxe with the sink inside?" For 1–2 units, the deluxe unit usually costs less than a standard unit plus a station. For 4 or more units, standard units plus one shared station usually cost less.

Deluxe flushing unit: questions from real calls
So it's about $100 more for a flushing one with a sink?
Roughly, for an event rental. Our deluxe flushing unit starts at about $295 for an event versus about $195 for a standard unit, delivery and pickup included in Milwaukee County. Your quote shows the exact figure.
Do the ones with a sink come with soap and paper towels?
Yes. Deluxe units come stocked with hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper and a full fresh-water tank.
Does a flushing porta potty need a water hookup?
No. It carries its own fresh-water tank. No hose and no power are needed.
What is your "event unit" — is it just a standard porta potty?
An event unit is a newer, cleaner unit we keep for parties instead of jobsites. It can be a standard or deluxe unit — the deluxe is the one with the flush and sink.
Can I rent a deluxe unit in winter?
Yes, but from mid-October to late April we shut off the sink so it cannot freeze, and add antifreeze to the flush water. Guests use the sanitizer dispenser instead.
