Why is summer tight in Milwaukee?
Milwaukee packs its biggest events into about 12 weeks. Summerfest 2026 ran three weekends — June 18–20, June 25–27 and July 2–4 — at Henry Maier Festival Park and drew 602,231 people in 2025 (WISN). The Wisconsin State Fair ran August 6–16 in West Allis, and Irish Fest ran August 13–16. Graduation parties fill late May through July, and block parties and farmers markets run all summer.

What did callers do?
In the calls in our U.S. call study, about 40% of event renters called less than a week ahead, and many got the answer "we're booked this weekend." The median lead time was 10 to 14 days. Wedding trailer requests came 6 weeks to over a year ahead.

Questions readers ask
Can I still get a unit the week of the party?
Often yes for standard units — we hold same-day capacity on daily routes. Deluxe units and trailers are much harder that late.
Do festival weeks affect delivery times?
Yes. Traffic around the lakefront and State Fair Park slows routes, so expect a wider delivery window.
Should I book Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends earlier?
Yes. Book holiday weekends 3–4 weeks ahead.
